BLISS - An Oasis for Women of Color in the Desert is organized by women of color to provide a Palm Springs vacation getaway that is specifically inclusive and catering to women of color. This weekend is about celebrating and embracing the vast diversity of women who love women. We encourage women from all backgrounds, sizes, abilities and ethnicities to join us in the Desert for this historic weekend. We consciously programmed the weekend to offer a wide variety of music, performers, and events that reflect the different cultures within the greater lesbian community. We welcome all women of color and their allies to enjoy this amazing weekend.
Our inaugural event happened on October of 2009. With only sixty days of promotion, close to two hundred women from all over the United States descended on Palm Springs and shared an amazing journey together. This year we will be back in Palm Springs we hope you will join us for what is sure to be an even more spectacular weekend for women of color and their allies.
